Wildcats and a Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we made the drive to Abilene
for ACU Homecoming and all the festivities!
We made it on Friday just in time to have a little fun at the carnival,
where we took silly photo booth pics

Max attempted to feed the animals

and eventually rode a horse!

There were also some fireworks afterwards,
but our tired little man was not so much a fan
and we didn't stay long.

The next morning we enjoyed the parade
with the whole Rich clan!

In typical fashion, the boys are looking opposite directions.

Max loved waving at everyone
and taking it all in. :)

Since we had a little time before lunch,
we decided to attempt a few pics at the DRI Pumpkin Patch.

We got a few good ones, but those two little boys
did not perform as well as they did last year. :)

The rest of the weekend was spent eating

reading books

enjoying the backyard fort

splashing in the water feature

(or the bathtub)

and playing 42.
Jack and I beat Clay and Ken, just so you know.

Max also started saying "Pa-pa" (for Great-grandpa Ken)
and "Ja-ki" (for Jaxon). So cute!

It was a wonderful weekend to spend with family.
We always enjoy "coming home" this time of year!
